On a personal note I am married to my beautiful soul-mate Emma, I am blessed with three amazing children and eight grandchildren, and apart from spending lots of energy on Mood Group, I enjoy being out and about doing things that really interest me - the list of which is far too endless to mention here but suffice to say I like to achieve lots in my day and cannot abide wasting time. If called to list particular interests, apart from family and our business, it would probably be anything to do with food, travel and the sea, and all combinations of the aforementioned.

I believe we are all shaped by our surroundings, places, people, and our experiences.

My appreciation, and love of travel and exploring new places and people is probably born out of family experiences. Choosing to join in my families move to Dubai as a teenager in the mid 80’s, as my father’s work with Xerox required him to travel around the Middle East.

I returned to UK to finish my education, where I decided the way things ‘worked and looked’ were of interest to me. My passion for good design & great packaging started at an early age and even used to collect Luxury perfume/cosmetic Packaging and adorn my bedroom as a girl. This passion culminated in an Interior Design degree, where meticulous attention to detail count. Wanting to broaden my 10 years’ experience in central London’s Interiors Industry, I decided to return to Dubai in the early noughties, which was exploding, and I worked on some iconic projects and where I met my husband Marcus (who too, like my father, has his roots firmly rooted in the Packaging and Print Industry – what’s the chances of that!!)

Witnessing the financial crisis occurring across the world in 2007-2008, led us to change direction to enable us to be more in control of our careers and life journey. Our combined years of professional experience provided a wealth of knowledge and know how, which spurred us on, and Mood Group was born. Taking some time and space in Cyprus to reflect and build a solid foundation to the business and at a time of the arrival of our son.

Our journey then continued West to Malta, where we took our tiny baby to a tiny island in the middle of the Mediterranean where the business and our child started to grow and develop. Spreading our reach, ethos and good practice attracted new clients across Africa and into southern Europe. We are lucky to partner and continue to meet fantastically professional clients and candidates from all around the world daily. It’s what we love to do. Education and aging parents drew us back to UK, where we have based ourselves just outside London, an endless playground of adventures to stimulate and educate us all.

I’m looking forward to Mood Group’s exciting future and intellectual global growth. I’m excited for our next steps forward along its journey, with all the new fascinating clients, candidates, and technologies to have the privilege to meet along the way. I’m fascinated with learning more about the endless possibilities ahead, that environmental Packaging will deliver us all and our sustainable futures.

Our valuable experience in the Executive Search market is a hugely rewarding sector to continue to be wrapped up in. So, thanks for reading and here’s to all our future involvement in this beautiful Biz which is ‘Packaging & Print’
